Beside the production of natural juices Sicilian frozen concentrated fruit juices, you develop an additional production line, which concerns the essential oils of citrus fruits (sweet orange, bitter orange, lemon, citron, lime and bergamot), the alcoholates and the infused liquor of citrus and herbs. In particular, we emphasize the production of the infusion in alcohol of quinine, used mainly as a base for soft drinks and bitters, and infusions of licorice fruit juice and/or wood.
Our production of Essential Oils, Infusions and Alcoholates meets the favour of the audience in a unique manner.
This type of products is destined to the industries of the food sector for the production of flavourings, bases for soft drinks and liqueurs. Moreover, our products are used, with excellent results, in the field of Cosmetics for the production of Perfumes and Fragrances.
Their production is carried out using processes in the cold to obtain maximum extraction of the fragrances and of the particular components (aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, esters, and unsaturated hydrocarbons including terpenes and sesquiterpenes that represent the fraction “volatile”) that characterize the sicilian citrus fruits. Our strategy of production and sale does not provide for storage of the finished product but gives the customer the guarantee of purchasing a product is always “fresh” from the excellent quality.
Our fruit, before being machined, is selected on the fields of cultivation to ensure the quality of the raw material, the use of pesticides or chemical treatments that can alter the originality and naturalness. When the fruit reaches our industrial plant is subjected to further controls, ranging from simple assessment of vision lab tests, in full compliance with Italian and european regulations as regards the inorganic contaminants and organic residues of plant protection products.
These types of control are elaborated with particular care in the production to organic certification. The peel, used for the creation of infused spirits (alcoholates) through processes of cold, are obtained from the craft machines designed and built specially for us. These machines have a precision that
allow us to obtain a product which, in addition to having a high content of essential oil, is distinguished, the scent is intense due to the presence of the maximum amount of portion of the aromatic extractable from the rind. In addition to the alcoholates of citrus fruits, which constitute our strength, our production includes a range of
products based on medicinal plants such as sage, rosemary, oregano, wild fennel, mint and licorice. In particular, it is worthy of note, the infusion in alcohol of chinotto, which represents the excellence of our company.
